The session will discuss how AI tools may affect the attorney-client privilege and the attorney work-product doctrine, including steps counsel can take to reduce the risk of waiver. Members of Thompson Hine’s Local Government Support team will also provide practical guidance for in-house and government lawyers advising clients on the use of AI tools, addressing AI-related contract provisions and referencing AI-generated materials in legal holds.
