Our team has extensive experience in representing financial institutions, developers, non-profit organizations, and investors in tax credit financings throughout the country, including hundreds of construction projects supported by low income housing tax credits (LIHTC), historic tax credits (HTC), new markets tax credits (NMTC), tax increment financing (TIF), and USDA Rural Housing funds. These projects often involve multiple sources of capital that present unique and challenging issues. Our multidisciplinary team includes real estate, finance and tax attorneys with a unique depth of knowledge and experience dealing with these complicated capital structures, as well as financial strategists from our wholly owned subsidiary, Project Management Consultants (PMC) who offer consultation services from pro formas and an initial financial feasibility analysis to assistance with the identification and selection of prospective lenders, as well as application assistance for tax credit programs and initiatives, including the NMTC Program, the HTC Program and low income housing tax credits.
