Dean has more than 40 years’ experience in the construction industry. His career has spanned roles with responsibility for project strategy, management and delivery; safety and quality; sales, business development and customer satisfaction; and financial management and profitability across a portfolio of work representing more than $15 billion of executed projects in North America.
Throughout his career, Dean has served as director of data center development & construction for a global construction and real estate development company with more than 45 offices; senior vice president of North American healthcare operations at a multinational corporation providing food services and facilities management; area construction manager for a publicly traded global professional services and engineering firm providing consulting, design, construction, and program management for complex infrastructure and technology challenges; and general manager of mechanical engineering and construction at a well-known provider of comprehensive solutions and services for facilities and homes. Dean has also held positions as a project engineer, site superintendent, project manager, senior project manager, director of operations, and president/owner at a variety of general contracting, design build, construction management, and mechanical engineering & construction firms.
Dean has extensive experience supporting and leading the design, engineering, and construction project delivery life cycles in a variety of sectors. His work has encompassed hospitals and outpatient facilities, school and university campuses and student housing, critical infrastructure projects, advanced manufacturing and industrial facilities, headquarters and office projects, and landfills and waste treatment facilities.
