Chris is a partner in Thompson Hine’s Real Estate practice, focusing on providing strategic counsel for real estate and construction transactions. His core areas include real estate acquisitions, sales, leasing, development, partnerships and joint ventures, as well as lending, borrowing and financing transactions. He leverages his deep knowledge to facilitate complex matters ranging from traditional commercial transactions and financings to foreign investments in U.S. developments in some of the most prominent metropolitan areas in the country. Chris has a diverse client base, representing private investors, public companies, developers, operators, and financial institutions as well as real estate investment trusts (REITs) and hospitality properties.
While attending law school, Chris served as a legal extern for Chief Judge Edmund A. Sargus, Jr. of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. He also spent time as a law clerk for the U.S. Attorney’s Office as well as a legal intern for the Franklin County Prosecutor’s Office.
