Wilcoxon has significant experience advising employers and other benefit plan professionals on welfare benefit plan matters. She helps clients respond to increased plan costs and legal changes by analyzing various plan designs and associated risks; closely following legal developments and offering practical, proactive advice; reviewing and negotiating service provider agreements; and advising on all aspects of compliance with the Affordable Care Act, the mental health parity rules, HIPAA, COBRA, health savings accounts rules, nondiscrimination requirements, cafeteria plan rules, and other welfare benefit matters.

In 2019,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.thompsonhine.com/professionals/lamb-brian" target="_self" rel="noopener">Brian J. Lamb</a> was recognized as the exclusive winner in Ohio for litigation. Lamb is the leader of the firm’s&nbsp;<a href="https://www.thompsonhine.com/services/business-litigation" target="_self" rel="noopener">Business Litigation</a> practice group, which has 80 lawyers in eight offices and he has served in other leadership positions in the firm and in the community.

Lamb represents companies and their directors and officers in complex business disputes, including ERISA litigation, securities and shareholder litigation, corporate governance and fiduciary disputes, and litigation arising out of mergers, acquisitions and tender offers, and complex contract disputes. He also has significant experience litigating tax controversies against the federal government.
