The members of Thompson Hine’s Appellate Issues group recognize that certain litigation matters require a more careful touch. We represent clients before the United States Supreme Court, federal courts of appeals, and state appellate and supreme courts throughout the country. Recognizing that the best appellate litigator is also an accomplished trial lawyer, our team members also practice complex litigation in a variety of substantive law areas. Our appellate work involves all matters involving business concerns, be they constitutional, regulatory, statutory or common law.

The members of our group have multidisciplinary experience and are forward thinkers on behalf of their clients. While recognizing that winning an individual case is one measure of success, we seek to address our client’s overarching legal concern. Whether it be identifying opportunities for early appeal on a dispositive legal issue or managing systemic appeals, we are known for seeking creative solutions to maximize outcomes for our clients.
