Samantha is an associate in the firm’s Construction group. Her practice focuses on construction litigation, representing clients in pre-suit dispute resolution and throughout the litigation process. Samantha has experience representing project owners, general contractors, and subcontractors in a variety of matters, including breach of contract claims, fraud claims, mechanics’ lien foreclosures, defense actions, defect and delay claims, payment and performance bond claims, indemnification, and bad faith claims in both state and federal courts as well as arbitration. Outside of the construction field, Samantha also has experience with complex business litigation, including contract disputes, bankruptcy, employment litigation, business torts, as well as property disputes including land use restrictions, zoning, evictions, and seller misrepresentation claims.

Prior to joining Thompson Hine, Samantha was a litigation associate at a mid-sized law firm based in Cleveland, where she was actively involved in all facets of commercial litigation matters. She has experience preparing pleadings, motions, appellate briefs, and extensive discovery experience.
