As a member of the firm’s Business Litigation practice group, Karim represents clients in a wide range of matters. He focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation and white-collar criminal, internal investigation and government enforcement matters.
Prior to joining Thompson Hine, Karim was a litigation associate at a New York firm, where he gained experience working on a variety of matters in the corporate, securities and financial services, white-collar and government investigations and real estate practice areas. Before that he served two stints as a law clerk at a Massachusetts firm, where he primarily assisted with immigration matters.
While in law school, Karim served as an honors intern in the Enforcement Division of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, helping with investigations, depositions and interviews, and trial preparation. He also completed a legal internship at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston.
