Kayla is a managing associate in Thompson Hine's Corporate Transactions & Securities group, where she counsels her clients on a wide array of corporate governance matters and securities transactions. Prior to joining Thompson Hine, Kayla was an associate at a New York based law firm where she supported the corporate & securities practice group. Her experience ranges from securities offerings and compliance with the Exchange Act and Securities Act reporting requirements to mergers and acquisitions.

During her tenure in law school, Kayla held an externship position with the Honorable Louis A. Scarcella in the United States Bankruptcy Court, Eastern District of New York. Additionally, during her time at university, Kayla served as a student honors intern at the Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington, D.C., where she conducted reviews of transcripts and hearing exhibits, contributing to proceedings before administrative law judges.
