Janet has been a paralegal since 1982 and has supported the Personal &amp; Succession Planning practice group at Thompson Hine LLP since 1994.&nbsp; Janet assists with preparation of estate plans and estate planning asset transfers.&nbsp; She analyzes and interprets wills, trusts and other legal instruments to determine the proper procedures utilized under the terms of the instrument.&nbsp;

Janet also handles the administration of probate estates, which includes the assembly of all information required to administer estates and trusts, the preparation of all probate pleadings (including inventories and accountings), the coordination and preparation of documents relating to asset transfers for probate and trust administration purposes (including bank accounts, stocks, bonds and real estate), research of various probate, tax and real estate issues using the Ohio Revised Code and various Internet resources, coordination and preparation of federal estate tax returns, and assistance with estate tax audits.
