Examples of George’s experience include:

  • Representing a legacy air carrier in its antitrust lawsuit against a travel technology provider, ultimately prevailing in the first jury trial involving two-sided markets following the Supreme Court’s decision in Ohio v. American Express Co., 138 S. Ct. 2274 (2018).
  • Defending a global pharmaceuticals manufacturer against alleged antitrust claims, including Walker Process monopolization, regarding an innovative biologic.
  • Representing dozens of international air carriers in litigation against the U.S. government for recovery of overcharges imposed by the Department of Agriculture associated with inspections of incoming international aircraft.
  • Defending a multinational technology company against class action claims regarding breach of warranty, including serving as the lead drafter of the motion to dismiss that successfully eliminated class claims.
  • Defending a leading property management company in multidistrict litigation regarding alleged collusion between multifamily housing property owners and property managers through the common use of a software providing rental pricing recommendations.
  • Counseling an emerging biotechnology company in responding to inquiries by Congress and various state authorities regarding a price increase to the company’s signature drug.
  • Defending a leading CPU manufacturer against class action claims regarding breach of warranty relating to one of its flagship products.
  • Representing a group of leading economics and antitrust professors in connection with an amicus brief regarding the application of the per se rule to alleged no-poach agreements.

George has also represented clients as pro bono counsel in asylum proceedings and applications for compassionate release.
