Ashley is a managing associate in the firm’s Business Litigation group. She focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation in state and federal court, as well as in arbitration. Ashley has experience with all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, witness preparation and examination, depositions, and resolution through settlement or trial.

Prior to joining Thompson Hine, Ashley served as a judicial law clerk in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. Her previous international and national law firm experience includes assisting in a broad range of litigation, including matters involving commercial contract disputes, non-competes, employment discrimination, real property issues, trademark infringement, bankruptcy, internal corporate investigations, antitrust, malpractice, and class actions.

Ashley also has significant pro bono experience ranging from representing asylum-seeking clients at the southern border to tenants in eviction proceedings in local housing court. In 2021, she received the Legal Aid Society of Cleveland Community Impact Award for her commitment to pro bono work.
