<a href="http://www.thompsonhine.com/professionals/booth-karyn" target="_self" rel="noopener">Karyn A. Booth</a>&nbsp;(Transportation) – Booth, who leads the firm’s Transportation practice group, represents multinational corporations, industrial interests, trade associations and transportation intermediaries, such as 3PLs and NVOCCs, in domestic and international matters involving multimodal transportation and logistics services. Her practice covers regulatory, commercial, policy and litigation matters involving the carriage of goods by vessel, rail, motor and air carriers.

Brent Connor (Transportation) – Connor focuses his practice on aviation, international trade and export controls. He represents major U.S. and non-U.S. airlines before the DOT and FAA in connection with requests for approvals, licenses and certificates; route proceedings; codeshare issues; and other regulatory matters. Connor also represents clients in matters involving unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), or drones. He also has extensive experience in international trade, advising manufacturers, airlines and others on matters involving customs, export control, sanctions, antiboycott, FCPA and CFIUS issues. He regularly assists clients with developing, auditing and/or enhancing compliance programs, filing voluntary disclosures and classifying items.

<a href="http://www.thompsonhine.com/professionals/dimichael-nicholas" target="_self" rel="noopener">Nicholas J. DiMichael</a>&nbsp;(Transportation) – DiMichael assists shippers in developing arrangements to satisfy their domestic and international transportation needs and in complex transportation-related litigation. He has participated in many major proceedings before the Surface Transportation Board and its predecessor, the Interstate Commerce Commission, as well as before the Department of Transportation, Federal Maritime Commission and other agencies concerned with transportation.

<a href="https://www.thompsonhine.com/professionals/hall-sarah" target="_self" rel="noopener">Sarah M. Hall</a>&nbsp;(Business Litigation) – Hall, an experienced former federal prosecutor in the firm’s White Collar Criminal practice group, represents corporations and individuals in government investigations and prosecutions of alleged violations of the anti-fraud, procurement, FCPA, criminal tax, health care, securities and commodities laws. She has deep experience in every phase of a federal criminal case – from investigation to jury trials to appeals. As a defense attorney, Hall is experienced at running corporate internal investigations and excels at client counseling. She has led internal investigations on a wide variety of subject matters, including financial fraud, FCPA, narcotics in a corporate setting, #MeToo sexual harassment allegations, whistleblower retaliation and other employment-related claims.

<a href="https://www.thompsonhine.com/professionals/mason-tom" target="_self" rel="noopener">Tom Mason</a>&nbsp;(Government Contracts) – Mason leads the firm’s Government Contracts practice group and focuses his practice on all aspects of government contracts law and litigation, including dealing with grants and cooperative agreements, the management of major government systems and programs, and the resolution of related claims and disputes. He has extensive trial and appellate litigation experience, with a broad background in commercial and government contracts litigation, including civil false claims, accounting and intellectual property issues, and bid protests.

Clifton E. McCann (Intellectual Property) – McCann is a registered patent attorney and litigator with a focus on chemical, mechanical, biological and business method technologies. He counsels clients on patent and trademark procurement, licensing, enforcement and defense; provides validity and infringement opinions; initiates and defends against patent infringement challenges in the federal courts; and handles post-grant proceedings in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Wilson</a>&nbsp;(Business Litigation) – Wilson, who is partner-in-charge of the Washington, D.C. office, focuses his practice on complex civil litigation, internal and government investigations, and securities enforcement matters. He has led or otherwise been involved in many internal corporate investigations, including audit committee and special committee investigations.

Heyer</a>&nbsp;(Business Litigation) – Heyer’s experience encompasses a broad range of matters, including contract disputes, business torts, employment matters, insurance claims, trademark and copyright litigation, challenges of federal government agency actions and consumer finance claims. He has represented clients’ interests in numerous jury and bench trials in federal and state courts around the country, as well as in private arbitrations.
