Thompson Hine will provide an overview of U.S. federal and state data breach notification requirements, including requirements concerning new DHS/CISA regulations and SEC rules governing incident response for publicly traded companies. This discussion will include compliance from both a notification perspective and litigation risk. Thompson Hine will also address data protection compliance laws and recent litigation trends concerning website configurations and the use of website cookies, pixels, and tags to collect end-user data.
