Taylor is a Senior Managing Associate in the firm's Real Estate practice group, where she maintains a broad-based commercial real estate practice, advising clients across the full life cycle of real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, financing and development matters. Taylor's practice spans multiple asset classes, including medical and/or business office, retail, industrial, multifamily and mixed-use properties with a consistent focus on title, survey and zoning diligence review. Clients value Taylor's versatility and ability to manage matters of varying size and complexity, from single-asset acquisitions to complex, multi-property, multi-state portfolio transactions.
Before law school, Taylor was selected to serve in the prestigious Teach For America corps, where she spent two years teaching Language Arts to eighth-grade students in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This experience sharpened the leadership, communication and problem-solving skills she brings to her legal practice today. Taylor earned her law degree from Emory University School of Law, where she interned for the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Prior to joining Thompson Hine, Taylor practiced in the corporate securities group of another national law firm, where she advised clients on private placement offerings and the preparation of private placement memoranda, as well as company formation, organizational documents, entity structuring and asset sale agreements.
