Maryam is an associate in the firm’s International Trade practice group. She focuses her practice on advising clients on issues related to the importation and exportation of goods, including customs issues and compliance with U.S. sanctions and export control licensing requirements.

Prior to joining the firm, Maryam gained experience as a summer associate at a financial services company, where she conducted legal research and reviewed contracts. She also served as a writer for a legal services organization specializing in immigration and legal guidance. Earlier in her career, Maryam worked as a digital producer, managing the online presence of an international current affairs program based in Istanbul, Turkey.
