Kayla is currently working within the firm’s rotation program, which is customized for each associate’s interests and the needs of the firm. The rotation program enables associates to work in multiple practice areas before choosing areas of specialization. During this time, Kayla is receiving training from senior lawyers in multiple practice areas.

While attending law school, Kayla served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Judge Michael J. Newman in the Southern District Court of Ohio and as a law clerk at a law firm based in Dayton, Ohio. Kayla graduated as salutatorian of her law school class. She is the recipient of several CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in recognition of highest achievement in Torts, Legal Profession, Civil Procedure, Criminal Law, Constitutional Law I, Constitutional Law II, Criminal Procedure, Real Property II, Family Law, and Evidence.
