Managing Associate

Kaitlin is a managing associate in the Labor & Employment practice group. She counsels employers on a broad range of employment and labor issues and defends their interests in litigation and administrative proceedings.

Prior to joining Thompson Hine, Kaitlin worked at a Fortune 500 national retailer where she provided day-to-day guidance on employment and labor issues and represented the company in administrative proceedings before federal and state agencies. Her in-house experience gives Kaitlin an understanding of issues from the employer’s point of view and enables her to provide practical, hands-on guidance concerning the full spectrum of legal issues that may arise during an employment relationship. Additionally, she utilizes her experience to provide employers with preventative guidance concerning a variety of topics such as policies, wage and hour issues, workplace investigations, and discipline.

In addition, Kaitlin represents clients in employment litigation in federal and state courts on a variety of employment claims involving Title VII, ADA, FLSA, FMLA, and state law.
