Kadale is a managing associate in the firm’s Labor &amp; Employment practice group. She focuses her practice on providing counsel and representation to employers in employment and labor law matters. Kadale defends management clients against a variety of claims, including discrimination, harassment, and retaliation under Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the Family and Medical Leave Act, as well as claims brought under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Prior to joining Thompson Hine, Kadale served as an associate for nearly five years in the Atlanta office of national labor and employment law firm. In that role, she managed litigation matters including pleadings, discovery requests, subpoenas; helped employers navigate regulatory frameworks to ensure compliance with employment laws including Title VII, ADA, FLSA, FMLA, ADEA and agency regulations; managed workplace investigations; conducted mediations and depositions; analyzed and drafted employment agreements such as severance, non-compete, and handbook policies; and provided legal training and guidance to clients to minimize exposure.

Kadale’s experience includes serving as a legal intern with The Coca-Cola Company, which afforded her the opportunity to research assorted legal issues for the company and deepened her understanding of the day-to-day challenges in-house legal departments face. While in law school, Kadale also completed a clerkship under an administrative judge at the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and gained experience participating in administrative conferences during various stages of litigation and drafting bench and summary judgment decisions and case management orders. In addition, Kadale participated in the Google Legal Scholars program, where she gained insight into the in-house practice of law across multiple legal areas at one of the world’s largest technology companies.
