Focus Areas

David’s areas of experience include:

  • Counseling clients on international trade issues under U.S. laws, and NAFTA and WTO rules.
  • Advocating for clients in administrative proceedings before the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC), the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) and the Import Trade Administration (ITA) at the U.S. Department of Commerce, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), the Directorate of Defense Controls (DDTC) at the U.S. Department of State, the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) at the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ).
  • Representing clients’ interests before the U.S. Congress and Executive Branch agencies.
