Audrey is a practical problem solver who provides clear, strategic guidance to clients navigating complex environmental issues. She represents major manufacturing clients across the United States in matters involving regulatory compliance, permitting, enforcement defense, environmental litigation, site remediation under state and federal programs, and the environmental aspects of corporate and real estate transactions.
Her practice spans the full range of environmental laws, including the Clean Air Act (CAA), Clean Water Act (CWA), Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). She has a particular focus on CAA and CWA compliance and CERCLA matters, regularly representing clients in enforcement actions and in responding to information requests from federal and state agencies.
Before joining the firm, Audrey served as an Assistant Attorney General in the Environmental Bureau of the Illinois Attorney General’s Office, specializing in civil litigation to enforce state and federal environmental statutes and regulations. In her prior position as a policy advisor at the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago, she addressed environmental, labor, employment and financial policy issues.
