AstraBit among first digital-asset firms approved as a FINRA member broker-dealer
Thompson Hine LLP, Thompson Hine LLP, a law firm recognized widely for its focus on innovation, represented AstraBit in connection with its registration with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission as a broker-dealer and its approval for membership with FINRA, placing AstraBit among the first digital-asset-focused firms admitted as a FINRA member broker-dealer. With this approval, AstraBit intends to participate in the development of a regulated market structure for digital asset securities. This milestone reflects progress in integrating next-generation trading technologies within existing regulatory frameworks, with an emphasis on meeting applicable requirements and supporting fair, orderly markets.
“Our work with AstraBit reflects Thompson Hine’s commitment to helping innovators address regulatory requirements while bringing new technologies to market,” said Ernest E. Badway, a New York–based partner at Thompson Hine.
