On January 24, 2025, President Donald Trump issued an <a href="https://ofac.treasury.gov/media/933976/download?inline" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Executive Order (EO)</a> revoking numerous EOs and actions implemented during the administration of former President Joseph Biden. Included in this action was the revocation of <a href="https://ofac.treasury.gov/media/932576/download?inline" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Executive Order 14115</a> of February 1, 2024 (Imposing Certain Sanctions on Persons Undermining Peace, Security, and Stability in the West Bank) (see Thompson Hine Update of <a href="https://www.thompsonhinesmartrade.com/2024/02/u-s-announces-new-sanctions-to-promote-peace-security-and-stability-in-the-west-bank/">February 2, 2024</a>). The previous EO sought to address the increase in violence, including attacks on civilians, in the West Bank. It targeted, and subsequently the Department of the Treasury&rsquo;s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) designated and sanctioned, persons involved in activities that threaten peace, security, and stability in the region. 
To implement President Trump&rsquo;s revocation of EO 14115, OFAC has removed the West Bank-Related Sanctions program from its website and removed all persons designated under EO 14115 from the Specially Designated Nationals (SDN) List. As a result, all property and interests in property blocked under EO 14115 are unblocked.
