COVID-19-Related Leave Law and Other Changes:

While Illinois’ <a href="https://www.thompsonhine.com/insights/illinois-legislature-passes-paid-leave-for-all-workers-act/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Paid Leave For All Workers Act</a> may be just the first in a wave of laws making paid leave for any reason available to all employees, an appeals court has repealed (for now) amendments to Michigan’s paid sick leave law. We’ll keep you posted on further developments.
