Developments thus far in 2019 relating to government contract law and policy affecting the U.S. Department of Defense continue to reflect constant changes in the broader government contracting legal arena. Given that the DOD is responsible for the lion’s share of U.S. government procurement spending, it often takes the lead on, and is the subject of, cutting-edge efforts focused on statutory and regulatory reform and enforcement.
