Supply chain disruptions threaten to dominate the manufacturing landscape throughout 2022 and create financial instability for lower-tier suppliers.
Industries that rely on low inventory/just-in-time delivery models, highly integrated supply chains, long lead times, and robust OEM certification processes will likely need to transition to alternative suppliers as current suppliers face financial distress. Manufacturers that take proactive steps and understand best practices for how to accommodate suppliers will weather the disruptions better than those that are not prepared.
Please join Thompson Hine partner Jonathan Hawkins for an informative discussion on the following topics:
- How to spot early warning signs of supplier distress
- how to participate in customer-supported accommodations to address supplier distress and limit short-term disruption while a permanent solution is developed
- The risks, benefits, and opportunities associated with participating in a customer-based accommodation scheme
- The key concepts, documents, players, and strategies for successful customer accommodation of supplier distress
The program will be followed by a brief Q&A session. We look forward to seeing you.
Ohio CLE credit for this program is pending.
Credit in other jurisdictions will be applied for upon request, where eligible, if the request is received within 30 days following the program.
