In a release issued late yesterday, the Surface Transportation Board (STB) postponed the September 12 public listening session regarding CSX rail service issues. The postponement is due to Hurricane Irma, which currently is threatening Florida where CSX is headquartered and thus could impact the ability of CSX personnel to attend the hearing in Washington, D.C.
The STB has not set a new date for the hearing, but will reschedule as soon as practicable.
Notices of Intent to participate in the hearing, however, remain due today, September 7.
