Avery is an associate in the firm’s Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation practice group. She focuses her practice on advising her clients on matters involving employee benefits and ERISA. Her experience encompasses a broad range of health and welfare plan administration, design and maintenance issues, including ERISA, ACA, COBRA and M&A matters.

Prior to joining Thompson Hine, Avery worked as a compliance attorney for an insurance brokerage firm based in Cincinnati. Her experience also includes serving as a legal intern at an employee benefits consulting firm.
