Thompson Hine LLP is pleased to announce its membership in the&nbsp;<a href="https://www.lcldnet.org/" target="_self" rel="noopener">Leadership Council on Legal Diversity</a> (LCLD), which actively promotes diversity and inclusion in the legal profession through initiatives aimed at advancing a new generation of leaders.

The firm has chosen senior counsel&nbsp;<a href="https://www.thompsonhine.com/professionals/jones-tarnetta" target="_self" rel="noopener">Tarnetta Jones</a> to participate in the LCLD Fellows Program, which identifies, trains and advances the next generation of leaders in the legal profession. As a member of the 2020 class of Fellows, Jones will take part in a year-long, in-depth program devoted to relationship building, in-person training, peer-group projects and extensive contact with LCLD’s top leadership and the best teachers in the business.

Jones focuses her practice on finance transactions with an emphasis on leveraged, investment grade, asset-based, working capital and acquisition finance. She represents financial institutions, lenders, private equity and hedge fund sponsors, and public and private issuers and borrowers in secured and unsecured, syndicated and bilateral, revolving and term lending transactions.

The LCLD Pathfinders Program offers participants intensive in-person training, online experiential learning and opportunities to network with peers and esteemed LCLD Fellows and Alumni in small group gatherings.

The firm will also participate in the 1L LCLD Scholars Program, which enables law students to work side-by-side with attorneys from LCLD Member organizations, providing them with valuable professional experience and introducing them to the value of relationships and building networks with LCLD Members.
