To celebrate the accomplishments of key individuals both in and outside of our organization who are making strides in the areas of diversity and inclusion, we gather annually for our Diversity Champion Lunch. At the luncheon, we present the Thompson Hine Diversity Champion Award to a member of the firm who best exemplifies our commitment to diversity and inclusion by demonstrating exceptional efforts, both within the firm and in the community at large, to encourage, promote, value and include persons of diverse gender, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, gender expression, age, socioeconomic status, and physical and intellectual abilities. We also recognize a client or other member of the community with the Diversity Achievement Award, which honors an individual or company who shares our commitment to diversity and inclusion and demonstrates exceptional efforts and leadership in advancing the values of diversity and inclusion in their industry and the greater community.
