Our Diversity Fellowships are designed to offer diverse 1L students practical and valuable work experience to strengthen their legal and professional skills while providing them with meaningful mentoring and training opportunities that will enrich their future legal careers.

NOTE: For Summer 2022, the 1L Diversity Fellowships in Cleveland and Cincinnati will offer a split summer with legal departments at two of Thompson Hine’s key clients: Kelly Services and Eaton Corporation.

Students selected for the Diversity Fellowships will receive a paid summer associate position for the duration of our summer program, plus an additional payment* at the successful completion of the summer program. Those who receive and accept offers to return for a second summer will receive an additional payment * in the spring and will be eligible to apply for our 2L Diversity Scholarship.
