We advise on all aspects of workers’ compensation claims and workplace safety issues involving workers’ compensation, including intentional tort claims. Our goal is to help businesses minimize costs associated with industrial injuries and diseases.
We help state-funded and self-insured employers minimize costs associated with industrial injuries and diseases. Our group represents state-funded and self-insured employers both administratively and before the Bureau of Workers' Compensation, the Industrial Commission of Ohio and various Ohio courts.
State-funded and self-insured employers rely on us for defense in complex legal and medical claims, guidance on developing safety programs, and advice on how state and federal workers’ compensation laws affect their companies.
Our experience includes defending the allowance of claims, extent of disability issues, permanent partial disability, permanent total disability, specific safety requirement violations and claim settlements. We also advise on applications for self-insurance, noncomplying employer liability and investigation of fraudulent industrial claims.
