Firm's Ninth Consecutive Year Rated as a Top Firm
Thompson Hine LLP has been named as one of the top two law firms in the country for client service and the only firm ranked in the top tier for "Provides Value for the Dollar," according to the 2011 BTI Client Service A-Team: Survey of Law Firm Client Service Performance, issued this week by The BTI Consulting Group, Inc. The independent report evaluates law firm performance based exclusively on client feedback from general counsel and C-level executives across the country.
Thompson Hine was named among the top-tier "Best of the Best" performers in eight categories that drive superior client relationships:
- Client Focus
- Understands the Client's Business
- Provides Value for the Dollar
- Regional Reputation
- Unprompted Communication
- Keeps Clients Informed
- Meets Scope and Budget
- Anticipates the Client's Needs
The firm also received high marks in the nine additional categories used by clients to rank the firms. The report emphasizes that "clients value Thompson Hine's commitment to superior client service through the firm's 'excellent communications' and 'good client service.' Thompson Hine drives itself to the top of The BTI Client Service 30 by proving an exceptional understanding of clients: 'they understand our needs,' 'they have a great understanding of the client and timelines.'"
BTI surveyed nearly 300 corporate counsel and C-level executives at Fortune 1000 and large companies across the United States. Respondents rated law firms on specific activities they use to select and evaluate outside counsel. Thompson Hine has been ranked among the firms on The BTI Client Service A-Team for nine consecutive years.
