Ashley, a registered U.S. patent attorney and&nbsp;counsel in the firm’s Intellectual Property group, focuses her practice on patent prosecution, trademark prosecution and portfolio management.

Her experience includes managing several international patent and trademark portfolios, preparing technology licensing and non-disclosure agreements, and preparing patent applications in the areas of life sciences, mechanical and the chemical arts.

As part of her work with the Energy group, Ashley has advised on various&nbsp;aspects related to clean energy. She has consulted on all aspects of solar project financing on both the lender's and the borrower's sides in connection with&nbsp;the creation and financing of solar energy facilities.&nbsp;

Ashley has also represented clients in the negotiation of power purchase agreements (PPAs), utility interconnection contracts and engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) and operations and maintenance (O&amp;M) agreements.

During law school, Ashley participated in the TI:GER program, a collaboration between Georgia Tech and Emory Law School that brings together science and engineering Ph.D., M.B.A. and law students to work on commercializing innovative technologies. She also interned with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and The Coca-Cola Company.
