County by County Auditor/Engineer Standards Governing Conveyances of Real Property in Ohio
With the passage of Amended Substitute Senate Bill 158, each County Auditor and Engineer is directed to "adopt standards governing conveyances of real property in the county." The adoption or modification requires two public hearings. We have asked the County Auditors to provide us with copies of the standards adopted in their respective counties. While the statute requires only that the standards be "available for public inspection during normal business hours," the Auditors have assisted us by providing the information you find on these pages, and we want to thank them for their cooperation.
Having no way to ensure that we have the most recent copy
of each county's standards, you are cautioned not to rely
upon the following information without having your lawyer
review your instrument of conveyance and contact the Auditor
to determine the current standards.
