Professional Experience
Julia focuses her practice on the design, establishment and maintenance of tax-qualified pension, 401(k) and profit-sharing plans, non-qualified deferred compensation plans, equity compensation arrangements and health and welfare benefit plans, including flexible benefit programs and cafeteria plans. Julia frequently advises clients on healthcare reform, COBRA and HIPAA matters. With respect to HIPAA, Julia has advised clients on HIPAA privacy and security as well as best practices and workforce training. Julia also has significant experience in the employee benefit aspects of mergers and acquisitions. Additionally, Julia counsels clients on IRS and DOL compliance matters, including voluntary correction programs and determination letter filings.
Julia has significant experience counseling both public and private company executives on issues related to fiduciary compliance and corporate governance related to administration of employee benefit plans and executive compensation arrangements.
Prior to joining the firm, Julia was an associate at Jones Day.
Julia is admitted to practice in New York and Ohio.
Julia is a member of the firm's New Lawyer Committee.
