Professional Experience
Tony represents a wide variety of clients in all facets of civil litigation. He has significant experience with complex commercial litigation and commonly represents clients in matters involving construction, general commercial, products liability, and landlord-tenant litigation. Tony is also experienced in consumer-finance litigation and appellate practice. Tony is an associate with trial experience who takes pride in resolving clients' disputes favorably and efficiently.
Even though he is licensed to practice law in Indiana, Ohio, the Southern District of Ohio, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, Tony represents clients in federal and state courts as well as in arbitrations across the country.

- Obtained jury verdict after a two week trial in Indiana state court for a professional engineering firm on claims of professional negligence, fraud, negligent misrepresentation, and breach of contract seeking more than $2 million in addition to punitive damages.
- Obtained summary judgment in favor of an international company on an $8 million fraud claim in Texas federal court.
- Defended pharmaceutical manufacturer against breach of contract and fraud claims asserted by a drug broker in Ohio federal court that settled after one week of trial.
- Represented an employer asserting fraud claims against a former employee for embezzling employer's funds.
- Defended financial institution serving as an investment manager of an ERISA plan in a multimillion dollar arbitration alleging breach of fiduciary duty.
- Represented financial institution asserting a breach of contract claim against a loan broker.
- Defended large hotel in personal injury action arising from a slip-and-fall.
- Obtained $1.2 million summary judgment in favor of a commercial landlord on breach of lease claims against a former landlord in Ohio state court.
- Represented commercial and residential landlords in numerous eviction and breach of lease proceedings.
- Obtained a dismissal as a matter of law on claims asserted against a large commercial tenant.
- Obtained summary judgment in favor of commercial landlord on a breach of lease claim and the tenant's counterclaims for breach of lease.
- Represented a residential tenant in dispute with former landlord regarding improvements made to the leased property during the tenancy.
