Professional Experience

Steve is a partner in the firm's Intellectual Property Practice group. He is a registered patent attorney and focuses on all aspects of intellectual property law, including domestic and foreign patent and trademark prosecution; patent and trademark validity and right-to-use studies; copyright registration and litigation; intellectual property licensing including joint venture and trade secret agreements; and domain name and cybersquatting issues.

Prior to joining the firm, Steve was an associate with Calfee, Halter & Griswold LLP in Cleveland, Ohio, and was previously a judicial extern to the Honorable Paul E. Pfeifer of the Ohio Supreme Court.

Technical Experience
Medical devices, automotive components, valves and fittings, micro-electromechanical systems, food processing equipment, software and system design, golf equipment, business methods, fluid sensors, packaging, printer technologies, protective apparel, school and office products, papermaking techniques, materials processing, transportation technology, pumping equipment and electric motor manufacturing.
