Professional Experience
Ruthe is counsel in the firm's Product Liability Litigation practice group. She focuses her practice on complex mass tort litigation matters including defending drug companies and medical device manufacturers within New York state and around the country. She also defends numerous shipping lines in maritime asbestos litigation and a power generating utility in the New York City asbestos litigation.
Ruthe is admitted to practice in the state of New York and the United States District Court for the Eastern, Northern and Southern Districts of New York.

- Counseling and defending drug manufacturers in a variety of matters including, on a national level, the Hormone Replacement, Breast Implant and DES litigations.
- Planning and executing all facets of drug liability litigation including preparing medical and scientific defenses and investigating and developing the company response.
- Successfully defends ship-owners and a power-generating utility in the New York City asbestos litigation.
