Paul is a partner in the firm's Corporate Transactions & Securities and Personal & Succession Planning practice groups. He has practiced in the corporate and securities fields for more than 30 years, concentrating in general corporate and business law, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and securities laws. He was previously Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Technician Corporation, Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Sterling Winthrop Inc. and Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Readers Digest Inc. He has represented companies in the pharmaceutical, consumer products, publishing, chemical, software and medical device industries. Paul has lectured extensively at law school and bar meetings, including the USTA, Defense Research Institute and Belfast Law Society.
Paul is an Adjunct Professor of Law at Fordham Law School, where he teaches Commercial Drafting: Business Contracts and Transactions.
Paul is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, United States Court of Appeals for the Second and Fifth Circuits and the United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
