Mildred is of counsel in the firm's Commercial & Public Finance group. She focuses her practice on corporate trust matters.

Prior to joining Thompson Hine, Mildred served as Managing Counsel for the global agency and trust business of The Bank of New York. She managed a team of ten attorneys located throughout the U.S., Europe, Asia and Latin America and was responsible for resolving legal matters on a global scale. Her global responsibilities included matters that required navigating the financial regulatory markets of Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, and the United Kingdom. She has extensive U.S. experience with defaulted debt, structured finance (ABS and MBS), CDOs, corporate finance, international finance, project finance, and general fiduciary matters.

Preceding her work with The Bank of New York, Mildred served as senior legal counsel to Citibank's agency and trust business, primarily located in North America and Europe, for nearly a decade. During her tenure at Citibank, she rendered legal advice to internal and external clients for the structured finance, project finance, conventional debt and escrow product lines. Mildred developed considerable experience in fiduciary principles under New York common law, the Trust Indenture Act and 12 CFR Part 9 and has interfaced with regulators for both state chartered banks and nationally chartered banks. She was also lead counsel on strategic partnerships and acquisition initiatives for the agency and trust business.

Mildred is admitted to practice in the state of New York.
