Professional Experience

Maria is counsel in the Business Litigation practice group where her practice focuses on complex business and corporate litigation and contract disputes, commercial and business torts, defense of lender liabilityand other business transactions and relations. Maria is also involved with the firm's pro bono work at the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Prior to joining the firm, Maria worked for five years in general tort litigation and complex pharmaceutical litigation attorney at a large, corporate defense firm in downtown Cleveland, and served as a law clerk to the Honorable Kathleen M. O'Malley of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.

Maria is admitted to practice in Ohio, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, and the United States District Court for the District of Colorado. She is also admitted to practice in the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.
