Professional Experience

Jennifer is an associate in the Labor & Employment practice group. She represents private and public employers in all areas of labor and employment law, including employment discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful discharge cases and class actions; wage-hour disputes and FLSA collective actions; labor negotiations and arbitrations; union avoidance and election campaign strategies; lockouts, strikes, and other labor disputes; disability discrimination cases and ADA accessibility audits; FMLA compliance; USERRA lawsuits; Ohio Whistleblower and SOX actions; federal and state administrative agency investigations and complaint proceedings; and actions to enforce restrictive covenants and protect employers' trade secrets. Jennifer frequently partners with employers to customize and present in-house training programs to educate employees and supervisors about employment laws and workplace policies. Jennifer also has experience preparing affirmative action plans, ensuring OFCCP compliance for federal contractors, and practicing Ohio school, municipal, and township law.

Jennifer is admitted to practice law in the State of Ohio (2004), as well as before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio (2006), the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio (2010), the U.S. Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals (2011), and the U.S. Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals (2007).
