Professional Experience
Erin is an associate in the Real Estate practice group. She focuses her practice on secured financings and real estate sales and acquisitions.
Prior to joining Thompson Hine, Erin spent 6 years in the legal department of a publicly traded Real Estate Investment Trust working on corporate and real estate transactions and financings. She has experience in both single asset and portfolio sales and acquisitions. Her financing experience includes both single asset and portfolio mortgage deals, unsecured loans, revolving credit facilities, and workouts and loan restructurings.

- Represented borrower in first and only successful Term Asset Backed Secured Loan Facility ("TALF") encumbering some 30 shopping centers in the US and generating $400 Million in proceeds for the company.
- Represented borrower in $30 Million securitized portfolio loan encumbering 3 grocery-anchored shopping centers in 2010 – one of the first multi-borrower "new" CMBS deals.
- Represented borrower in restructuring of $220 Million securitized loan encumbering 37 single tenant assets.
- Represented borrower in refinancing of $1 Billion unsecured, revolving corporate credit facility.
- Represented borrower in $350 Million secured financing with insurance company lender in 2008.
- Represented seller in sale of $89 Million mixed use center in Northern California.
- Represented seller in sale of 6 grocery anchored shopping centers generating $42.5 Million in proceeds for the seller.
- In 2009, represented seller in sale of over 20 regional shopping centers to various buyers.
- Member of deal team completing $6.2 Billion merger between two real estate companies.
