Dean is an associate in the Product Liability Litigation practice group. He focuses his practice on commercial and consumer products, injuries to persons and property, and other business transactions and relationships. Dean is currently assisting with the defense of personal injury actions against various product manufacturer and defense of toxic tort claims asserted against the vinyl chloride industry. He has also been involved with the firm's pro bono practice.

Prior to joining the firm, Dean worked as an Ohio Taxation Enforcement Agent where he investigated white collar crimes and other financial fraud cases. As an agent, he was granted top secret security clearance and worked with the Federal Bureau of Investigation as part of a Joint Terrorism Task Force to investigate suspected terrorism and trace funds from illegal activity. He also participated in internal investigations of cooperative businesses and government agencies to uncover employee embezzlement and theft. While investigating mostly white collar crimes, he has led and/or participated in interviewing hundreds of witnesses and suspects, and gathered volumes of records to prove criminal and civil violations.
