Professional Experience

Cristine is an associate in the Business Litigation practice group. Her experience includes handling a range of issues related to business and real estate litigation, with an emphasis on representation of secured lenders, residential mortgage disputes and real property ad valorem tax matters. Cristine also has experience with residential and commercial foreclosure and confirmation litigation.

Cristine has experience representing clients throughout all stages of litigation, including drafting initial and responsive documentation, discovery, arguing dispositive motions, negotiating settlements, trial and appeals.

Cristine is admitted to practice in Georgia.

• Successfully argued for summary judgment in favor of defendant secured lender against claims of residential mortgage fraud, and violations of TILA and RESPA
• Successfully argued appeal before Georgia Court of Appeals to overturn judgment in favor of county tax commissioner related to unlawful assessment of property taxes
• Representation of court-appointed receiver for property valued at over $70 million.
• Managed levy and sale of debtor’s assets to satisfy judgment in excess of $1 million.
