A webinar examining President Trump’s trade initiatives, their implementation and their impact
Please join us for a discussion on the state of U.S. international trade policy since the Trump administration took office and introduced its “America First” agenda. Our webinar will focus on changes that have occurred since President Trump withdrew the United States from the Trans-Pacific Partnership early in his presidency and announced that his administration would reject and renegotiate certain trade deals, crack down on countries that violate trade agreements and use every tool at the federal government’s disposal to end these abuses.
We will provide updates on the status of various free trade agreements (e.g., NAFTA and KORUS), trade enforcement activities (e.g., Sections 201, 232 and 301 and the WTO), the economic sanctions regime (e.g., Cuba, Iran and Russia) and other executive branch trade policy activities over the past year.
