A Real Estate and Environmental CLE Program

Renewed interest in urban living and the limited availability of space close to transit centers have created increased demand from developers for vacant and potentially contaminated urban sites. Issues in brownfield development have added complexity to existing legal and regulatory requirements – creating new challenges for property owners and developers.

Please join us for an informative roundtable discussion designed for ACC members and clients and friends of Thompson Hine, particularly those in the Environmental and Real Estate areas. Our conversation will address common issues in brownfield redevelopment, including the buying and selling of these properties, government funding, voluntary action programs, liability risks, recurrent problems and environmental insurance. We’ll also discuss key provisions in purchase and sale agreements, such as representations and warranties, indemnities and covenants.

1.5 hours of CLE credit has been requested for Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana.
