Reports to: Chief Financial Officer
Duties/Description:
We are seeking candidates for a full-time position located within our Cleveland office. The primary purpose of this position will be to provide administrative support to the Finance department. Additionally, this individual will assist in department activities including cash receipts and disbursements, billing, collections, financial analysis, expense management, audit and budget related activities.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing administrative support, including preparing and revising correspondence and other documents as directed, providing telephone coverage for department staff as needed, as well as screening telephone calls, directing calls to appropriate parties and taking messages.
  • Maintaining confidential employee files including payroll and personal information.
  • Opening, sorting and delivering incoming mail. Ensure that outgoing mail is mailed in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining calendar and contact list for the Chief Financial Officer; adding and maintaining filing and deadline reminder systems.
  • Coordinating meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  • Coordinating or assisting with projects both within the department and with other departments.
  • Assisting in other department activities including: preparation of analysis and Power Point presentations, general ledger bookkeeping, financial reports and bank reconciliations.
  • Responding to regularly occurring requests for information, such as forms and other materials.
 
Experience Required:
The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma (college degree preferred) and five years administrative experience. Familiarity with terminology and processes relative to a Finance Department is a plus.

In addition, ideal candidates will possess excellent customer service skills with strong listening, verbal and written communication skills as well as be detail oriented, accurate and able to work independently. Candidate will also possess high proficiency with all programs in MS Office.
