pro bono legal work. Below are select highlights from 2008 for Cincinnati, Cleveland,

Cincinnati
Lawyers in our Cincinnati office worked on eviction, quiet title, guardian ad litem and other litigation matters as well as fielded a regular flow of cases referred from the Volunteer Lawyers for the Poor Program. In all, twenty-five Cincinnati office lawyers contributed 510
pro bono hours in 2008.

Sixty-nine Cleveland lawyers gave more than 2,575 hours to
pro bono matters in the past year. Of particular interest, several Cleveland associates made their first arguments to the Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit in
pro bono cases in 2008. Sarah Flannery provided invaluable assistance in the successful stay of a deportation order directed to a Dayton office client who is a Rwandan refugee.

Ten lawyers in the Columbus office spent a total of 696 hours on
pro bono projects in 2008.

Lawyers in our Dayton office provided
pro bono services in 2008 on a variety of matters including domestic relations and domestic violence, criminal appeals and property-related litigation. Thirty-two Dayton lawyers working on
pro bono matters in 2008 contributed over 631 hours in all.

Thirteen lawyers in the New York office spent a total of 1,133 hours on
pro bono projects in 2008.

Lawyers in the D.C. office handled several referred matters, including work for a new client AIDS Free World. Ten DC lawyers in all gave over 765 hours to
pro bono projects in 2008.
